August 2013: Delivering Intercultural Training on Your Campus to Students, Administrators, and Faculty

Using Intercultural Training for International Recrutiment

International admissions professionals could assist the development & alumni relations office on campus in working with international alumni for recruitment opportunities. International recruiters travel overseas and visit secondary schools and college fairs. It would be beneficial for a university to be represented at international college fairs not only by admissions reps. but by local alumni. The details of what information should be highlighted to students and parents attending the college fair should be clearly communicated and international admissions staff can assist the appropriate alumni offices on campus in what and how the information should be communicated. Additionally, if a university is looking to grow its international alumni base intercultural training is key before they begin reaching out to these valuable alumni.
