Creating and Updating an Immigration Institutional Policy

I like the recent e-publication on Institutional Policies. I think more dialogue on this would be useful. I would love to see more discussion on topics like: what immigrant visa categories do schools sponsor; how soon after hire do they sponsor; do they process in-house or with an outside lawyer; who pays the fees; do they charge fees for immig services; who pays nonimmigrant filing fees; etc

Scholar Programming

A forum to share ideas and best practices on programming for the scholar, perhaps targeted to the J-1, population in light of ECA goals. Could include training for department administrators as related programming. Would be nice to share not only ideas, but survey results, assessments, costs, attendance, failures/lessons learned, etc. Mentoring programs? Alumni programs?...

Most community colleges seem to offer the same format to international as they do for Americans; setting up a table in the commons over lunch hour.
